Haley Taylor Schlitz is the 16-year-old who is not like many teenagers because she was home-schooled, but passed university exams, and now has been admitted into nine law schools in the United States of America.
16-year-old Haley Taylor Schlitz has graduated from the Texas Woman’s University at 13 and when she wanted to go to law school, she was offered admission into nine schools in spite of the fact that she was home-schooled.
Now, according to Diversityinc.com, Schlitz will start law school at Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law in September 2019.
It is one of nine law schools that accepted the brilliant teenager, according to the American Bar Association.
Among the law schools that accepted Schlitz were Howard University, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and Texas Southern University.
The young woman was quoted as saying: “I think the entire educational experience has really helped me grow and learn who I am better,.
“A lot of people find that out about themselves a little bit later in life. My education has really helped me get to know who Haley is.”
Schlitz was home-schooled after her parents decided to withdraw her from public school in the fifth grade because they didn’t believe she was being taught properly.
The humble teen is grateful to her parents for choosing to homeschool her. Initially, Schlitz aspired to be a doctor like her mother but she changed her mind and decided to pursue a career in law instead.
