Fraudsters are duping people using my name – Ablakwa cries

Member of Parliament for North Tongu constituency, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has cautioned the public to be wary of social media fraudsters using his name to dupe people to whom they promise jobs in exchange for money.

According to the him, he continues to receive reports of how people have fallen victim to fraudsters posing as him on Facebook.

In a Facebook post, Ablakwa said, he does not offer ‘protocol’ jobs neither does he ever demand money to assist anyone, no matter the circumstance.

“I am only and strictly a Member of Parliament; NOT a Visa Contractor; NOT a ‘Protocol’ Facilitator; NOT a Recruitment Agent; NOT a Middleman to any institution whatsoever!”.

“Respectfully, may we all endeavour to avoid greed and crookedness by swiftly reporting all such criminals on Facebook to the Security Agencies instead of participating in their evil enterprises,” he stated.
