An attempt by the vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, to outline the achievements of the Akufo-Addo-led administration with regard to employment has generated varied reactions on social media.
As part of his nationwide Ramadan tour, Dr. Bawumia visited Saboba in the Northern region, as well as Chereponi, Bunkpurugu, Nalerigu and Gambaga in the North East region.
He took the opportunity to meet with and interact with the traditional rulers as well as praying with them.
Dr. Bawumia explained that the government has recruited 3,000 Arabic teachers to help in the teaching of Arabic as well as 54,000 nurses across the country.
He went on to say that 100,000 graduates have been employed under the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) programme.
