Photos and video of the kidnappers of the Canadian girls pop up

The two Canadian nationals who were kidnapped in Kumasi recently were rescued in the morning of Wednesday, June 12, 2019.

Announcing the successful rescue of the two Bailey Jordan Chitty, 20 and Lauren Patricia Catherine Tilley, 19, Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah revealed that eight people had been arrested over the kidnapping. Three of those arrested are Nigerians.

YEN.com.gh has sighted photos of the suspects who have been arrested so far. Among the five Ghanaians is one Seidu Mba, who is known to be staunch Asante Kotoko supporter in Kumasi.

It would be recalled that Chitty,] and Tilley were reportedly forced into a vehicle at about 8:20 pm on June 4 just when they had stepped out of their apartment at Silver Spring in Kumasi.

However, in a joint operation involving various security agencies including the Police and National Security, the duo was rescued at a house at Akyease in the Kwabre East District of the Ashanti region.
