Lydia Forson celebrates her Methodist priest father on Father's Day

Actress Lydia Forson has set tongues wagging with her latest activity on social media in relation to the Father's Day.

Lydia Forson has got social media talking after celebrating her father in commemoration of the Father's Day.

In a photo that was sighted by YEN.com.gh, Lydia Forson took to Instagram to reveal the identity of her father.

After posting a beautiful photo of herself and her dad, the actress wrote "We had a boujee lunch of lobster, sole and other things I can’t name because I dont speak French- we just know it was good."

"And we washed it down with some wine. My dad and I like good things paaaa," the outspoken actress wrote.

What is however surprising to many is that Lydia Forson's father was wearing the dress of a priest.

A research done by YEN.com.gh revealed that the actress' father is called Very Rev. Dr. Mathias K. Forson of the Methodist Church.

Over the years, Rev. Forson served as the head Reverend of numerous Methodist Church of Ghana dioceses in the country.

This is one of the very few times that Lydia Forson has revealed the identity of her young-looking father.

Many Ghanaians prior to this photo did not know that Lydia Forson's father is a practicing pastor of the Methodist Church.

Lydia Forson is one of Ghana's most iconic actresses as she has thrilled movie lovers with good acting skills over the years.

Meanwhile, she is noted to be one of the tough-talking celebrities in Ghana considering her social media engagements.

She often shares strong opinion on political issues that many celebrities do not talk about.
