Kennedy Agyapong is no longer my friend - Kweku Baako reveals

The Editor-In-Chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako Junior, has admitted that Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong was no longer his friend.

He said they were friends but failed to mention what may have caused their separation in the wake of the veteran journalist suing the lawmaker.

Sources however indicate that the break in the relationship between the two was as a result of fallout from Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ Number 12 where the lawmaker was reported to have verbally attacked Baako.

Kweku Baako made this revelation while speaking on Metro TV's Good Morning Ghana show.

This came to light when the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ningo-Prampram, Sam George who was a co-panelist on the show referred to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) firebrand as his bosom friend.

In sharp response Baako asked who his friend was, referring to Kennedy Agyapong

“Whose friend? He is no longer my friend so don’t say he is my friend. I was asked this very question in court Tuesday. His lawyer asked me is Mr. Agyapong your friend and I said until recently yes. And I was asked to elaborate and I elaborated that until recently he is no longer my friend”.
