NDC’s Victor Smith speaks about party’s plans for 2020; says they are not ready for elections

- According to him, the party is still in the process of positioning itself for the elections

- He however added that the current government has churned out bad policies

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is not fully prepared for the 2020 elections, according to Victor Smith, a former aide to the party’s founder, Jerry John Rawlings.

Smith stated that the party is still in the process of positioning itself for the elections, and therefore has more to do to be fully prepared.

Speaking on Ghana Yesom on Accra FM on Monday, June 17, 2019, he stated that Ghanaians are generally disappointed in the bad policies of the Akufo-Addo-led government.

Per a Classfmonline.com, he explained that the current conditions in which Ghanaians live are not the best as the policies are negatively interfering with their lifestyles.

Smith was recently in the news for claiming that he knows the owner of the voice on the infamous leaked tape that went viral in February 2019.

According to him, he is very certain that the voice belongs to the national chairman of the NDC, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo.

Smith went on to say that, he knows Ofosu Ampofo’s voice very well and is therefore convinced that the voice on the tape belongs to him.
