Security Guard attacked and killed in banking hall

28-year-old Michael Chefaal, a security guard at the Yeji branch of the Brong Ahafo Catholic Cooperative Society for Development (BACCSOD), has been gruesomely murdered in the banking hall while on guard duty.

The incident which is believed to have occurred at midnight was noticed in the morning when the workers reported to work.

The security man who would normally stay up to open the doors of the bank for work to start in the morning, was not available when the staff arrived.

Calls placed on his two telephone lines failed to connect as all the doors of the bank were locked with bloodstains visible through the glass doors of the bank. This immediately raised suspicion and fear among the staff.
