A new video has emerged online, in which the national communications director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi, has outlined reasons behind a decision to soon embark on a demonstration in Ghana.
According to him, Ghanaians are suffering and have no monies in their pockets, due to the failed promises of the Akufo-Addo administration.
Gyamfi, in a video shared by UTV, explained that the organisers of the demonstration, the Coalition of Social Justice, come from various political parties in Ghana.
His comments about the economic situation in Ghana did not go down well with some social media users, who reacted to his message:
Phrimpong is convinced NDC will be in opposition for a long time
Kay expressed excitement about the fact that NPP will be in power from 2020 onwards
Donkoh however advised him to keep quiet and suffer
Stephen meanwhile urged Gyamfi to make convincing arguments
Aboagye wondered if NDC had no competent person to help with communication
