Shatta Wale wades into Medikal and Strongman 'beef'

Popular dancehall musician Shatta Wale has got social media talking with his new tweet concerning the lyrical competition between rappers Medikal and Strongman.

Shatta Wale has made comments in relation to the recent 'beef' between rappers Medikal and Strongman.

According to the 'Gringo' hitmaker, Arab Money Gang rapper Medikal is the one leading the much-talked-about rap battle.

In a tweet that was sighted by YEN.com.gh, Shatta Wale threw his support behind the 2019 VGMA Rapper of the Year.

"Mek I throw the towel or mek I wait cuz the trend shows @AmgMedikal is leading," the SM boss wrote.

"Pls ano tek bribe ooo but the score board here shows ok bye," Shatta Wale added as he posted a screenshot of Twitter trends.

In the Twitter trends that the 'My Level' hitmaker referred to, the hashtag #TheLastBurial was trending at number one while #Immortal was at number two.

'The Last Burial' is the new single by Medikal that he released as a reply to an earlier song released by Strongman.

'Immortal' however is the song released by Strongman to shade Medikal and jab him for claiming that he saved rap music.

Deducing from Shatta Wale's tweet, he sought to refer to the trends and conclude that since Medikal's song is trending top of Strongman's own, Medikal is leading.

Shatta Wale's tweet followed the recent jabs thrown by Strongman to Medikal and a response by the 'Omo Ada' hitmaker.

Popularly known as 'beef' in Ghana music, the two rappers have jabbed one another in the two songs that are trending.

Strongman's initial jab to Medikal resulted from a post written by Medikal, claiming that he saved rap music from dying four years ago.

The claim by Medikal seems not to have gone down well with Strongman and some other rappers, resulting in several shades being thrown at Medikal.
