Meet Hailliote Sumney, the TV star who reportedly hosted 2019 BET Awards red carpet (Photos)
Ghanaian TV star Hailliote Sumney is arguably the happiest lady on earth after making herself proud.
Hailliote Sumney reportedly showcased her skills to the whole world during the 2019 BET Awards which came off on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California, USA.
Prior to the ceremony, Hailliote was confirmed as the person who will host the red carpet.

However, according to reports, the beautiful TV star grabbed the opportunity as she made her presence felt during the event.
In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, Haillie revealed that 4Syte TV, where she has had a stint as a presenter, was officially invited by the BET Awards organisers to cover the red carpet and the station picked her to run the show for its viewers across Africa and the rest of the world.

For the 2019 edition of the awards, Ghana did not get any nominations for awards in the Best International Act category.
AKA (South Africa), Aya Nakamura (France), Burna Boy (Nigeria), Dave (U.K.), Dosseh (France), Giggs (U.K.) and Mr Eazi (Nigeria) made the cut from Africa.
This is the second time that Ghana has missed out on the nomination, since the creation of that category in 2010.

Haillie is the female brand ambassador for London-based shoe brand, Jesu Segun alongside popular musician Stonebwoy, who is the male ambassador.
Haillie was born in Canada. She moved to the US when she was two years old.
