Ghana will become popular worldwide for my spiritual healing water - Bro Sammy

Popular gospel musician Brother Sammy has spoken for the first time after his invitation and arrest by the FDA and Ghana Police Service.

Brother Sammy has made comments following his invitation and arrest by the Food and Drugs Authority and the police.

According to the Kumasi-based singer, the name of Ghana will make waves around the world because of his healing water.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Brother Sammy explained the source of his healing water and circumstances leading to his arrest.

"Let Food and Drugs Authority finish their test. I have the belief that through my divine healing water, the country Ghana will become popular worldwide," he said.

"There are leaders in every country and some of the leaders have come for it so let us wait and back the healing water with prayer so that it will bring victory and prestige to Ghana," he added.

Brother Sammy reiterated that his breakthrough medicine called 'Divine Spiritual Healing Water' has cured people of HIV/AIDS, Diabetes, Asthma, Cancer and Gonorrhea.

When asked if there are patients that can attest to the fact that the medicine works, he claimed that the patients are shy of the sickness.

"These illnesses are something that people who suffered from it are shy about so it will be difficult for those I have cured to come out publicly and attest that it works," he stated.

His comments followed his arrest on Friday, June 21, 2019, by officials of the police service and the FDA.

A statement from the police and FDA said Sammy was needed to assist in investigations as they consequently urged the public to stay away from the product.

In an publication by YEN.com.gh, the Public Relations Officer of the FDA, James Lartey, disclosed that Brother Sammy's conduct was totally unacceptable.

“He is likely to serve a maximum of 25 years in prison if found guilty after investigations,” the P.R.O said.
