Popular Ghanaian journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni, has expressed his disappointment in the performance of the Akufo-Addo-led government.
In a post sighted on Facebook, he explained that the difference between his expectations and the reality on the ground is vast.
He added that it appears Ghanaians bought a smartphone from Circle in Accra, only to get home and realize that it is a bar of soap.
Azure went on to say that he believes there are honest people in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who expected better from the government.
He also noted that he would have doubted it if Jesus Christ had told him the Akufo-Addo government would be as it is now.
His post attracted mixed reactions from some social media users:
Ahenkan advised him to also contest for presidency
Abdul added NPP is a Ponzi scheme
Tagoe sided with him, however, he noted that comments on such issues attract attacks
Sankara revealed he is tired of both NPP and NDC
To Salia, the government is super incompetent
Punobyin however admitted that the alternative is scary
