A Ghana policeman on a motorbike has been killed by a cement-laden truck at Mallam-Gbawe in Accra, YEN.com.gh can exclusively report.
Details of the accident are still sketchy, but eyewitnesses say the law enforcement officer was knocked under the truck while he trying to evade traffic at about 10am on Wednesday, June 26, 2019.
The truck reportedly ran over and dragged the officer for a while, killing him instantly.
YEN understands that aside sustaining several deadly injuries, the policeman's legs were also shattered on impact.
His name and details had yet to be determined at the time of reporting.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported of the death of a policeman who was run over by three vehicles at Adenta in Accra.
The deceased, Corporal Richard Antwi, was knocked down by a taxi driver, and met his untimely death.
In another report, a police inspector, Israel Theophilus Dotse mysteriously lost his life in Togo, where he traveled to purchase a car engine.
Another policeman, Constable Atibiya Ayine, also died after being gunned down by armed robbers at Spintex, in Accra.
