Hajia Fati warns pastors not to kill Akufo-Addo

Staunch New Patriotic Party [NPP] member, Hajia Fati, has sent a strong warning to some men of God claiming to have helped President Akufo-Addo to win the 2016 election.

She said the NPP led by then-candidate Akufo-Addo won the 2016 elections because of the “love the people have for Nana Addo” and not because of any man of God.

Hajia Fati who was speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’ said “I am ready to pay them [pastors] for what they claimed to have done for Nana Addo.”

“No one should kill the president for me,” she added.

Her comment comes after some pastors described the president as “ungrateful” for not showing appreciation for their ‘spiritual works’ - hence, they will cause his defeat in the 2020 elections.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported on how some men of God supposedly helped President Akufo-Addo to become president.

Some men of God, in the run up to the 2016 elections, said Akufo-Addo visited their churches to seek God's face and direction for victory in the elections
