Popular gospel musician Ophelia Nyantakyi has indicated that she could have committed adultery if she had remained married to her ex-husband.

The musician was speaking on why she had to leave her marital home after 12 solid years of being together with her former partner with whom she had four children.

According to her, some circumstances caused her to lose her love for her former husband and so she initiated the divorce in order to “save her life.

Nyatankyi, though, failed to reveal what those circumstances were but said she talks with her husband sometimes concerning their children.

“Circumstances caused me to fall out of love so I instigated the breakup because I wanted to save my life for the sake of our children," she said.

I would have cheated on my husband if…. [I had stayed],” the musician added.
