Iddris Sandu: 22-year-old Ghanaian tech millionaire wins prestigious international youth award

22-year-old Ghanaian tech mogul Iddris Sandu, is scheduled to be honoured with the YACE (Rising Star) Award at the FACE List Awards gala during the 2019 Pan African Weekend in New York City, after judges noted his excellence.

Iddris Sandu, a US-Ghanaian tech wizard with senior work experience for Instagram, Uber and Snapchat, will be awarded with the Young African Committed to Excellence (YACE) Rising Star awared at the Pan African Weekend celebrations later in July, 2019.

Sandu, a visionary equipped with the virtual reality glasses it takes to see into our future, draws upon technology that is simple, relatable and understandable.

Apart from the multi-billion companies he has coded for, the 22-year-old has worked on digital content for Kanye West, Jay-Z and the late Nipsey Hussle.

He has also done some work for Beyonce and Jaden Smith.

Sandu's family left Ghana for the US when he was only 3. However, Sandu still identifies as a Ghanaian.

His ingenuity was picked up by his parents and teachers at an early age. By time he was 15, Sandu was interning at Google.

In his later teenage years, Sandu broke out to embark on personal and original projects. At 19, he was working on his own apps and other software.

The interesting thing about Sandu is that his work and style have taken him from the business of technology to entertainment and politics.

He has met and worked with rappers Kanye West and Jaden Smith. This is apart from his work with Snapchat and Instagram.

Much is not revealed about his earnings but research done by YEN.com.gh reveals that Sandu is a young millionaire.
