Singer King Promise has sold the first copy of his yet-to-be-released album, As Promised, for a whopping GHC30,000.
King Promise sold the first copy at at a private listening party organised for friends and industry players in Accra on Wednesday, July 3, 2019.
The listening had Sarkodie, Omar Sterling (Paedae,) Serwaa Amihere, Efia odo, Sandra Ankobiah, Caroline Sampson, among others in attendance.
According to a report YEN.com.gh sighted on Zionfelix.com, the first copy of the album was bought one young man.
In a video from the event YEN.com.gh came across, the MC was heard praising the young man as he approached him n stage to pick up the packaged album.
Featuring Sarkodie, Simi, Kojo Antwi, Mugeez, Wizkid, Omar Sterling and other musicians, King Promise's album is set to be released on July 5, 2019.
The re had been widespread rumours and allegations on social media that King Promise was seeing the GHOne presenter.
According to the rumours, Serwaa had been visiting Promise in his East Legon home to be with him.
But in a recent interview, the singer stated there is nothing at all going on between him and Serwaa as he is focused solely on his career.
