Serie A campaigners Napoli have completed the signing of Arsenal shot-stopper David Ospina on a permanent transfer.
According to a release on the club’s official website, the 30-year-old Colombian international, who spent last season on loan has now joined the Carlo Ancelotti’s side on permanent basis.
Ospina featured 70 times for Arsenal in total after arriving from Nice back in 2014.
Last season, Gunners boss Unai Emery signed German goalie Berd Leno as replacement for No 1 Petr Cech, who has since quit the game and taken up a new role as performance adviser at Chelsea.
Ospina features 21 times for Napoli last season and has earned 98 international caps for Colombia's Tricolor so far.
“We would like to thank David for his contribution to the club and everyone at Arsenal wishes him the best for his future,” Arsenal’s farewell massage read in part.
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that former Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has sealed a five year deal with French League champions Paris Saint Germain.
The Spaniard parted ways with the Red Devils at the end of last season at the expiration of his contract at Old Trafford.
He however joined the Parisians as a free agent meaning the Premier league club failed to make any money on the player.
