DropThatChamber leader arrested for shouting the slogan in parliament

Ernest Yeboah, a man believed to be the leader of the growing social media trend, #DropThatChamber has been arrested in parliament.

According to news making round on twitter, he went to parliament and sat in the public gallery and shouted on top of his voice, drop that chamber when parliament was in full session.

He was later heckled from the gallery by some men believed to be police officers where he was arrested .

In a video making round on social media he is heard saying he would endure beating, slaps and any other thing, but what no one can to is stopping him from speaking the truth to power.

He added that no one could stop him from talking and it there were no men in the country he would say what he has to say.

Twitter users have as usual taken to the post to express their opinion on the action of the man, as to whether or not shouting in parliament was the right thing to do.

Ebi said the Ghanaian youth is ready to fight for what it believes.

Nana rather gave a warning to those who arrested the guy. Saying they would be chased out of town soon.

Gorazo did not see the need for Ernest to go to parliament to protest.

Bentil sarcastically mocked the MP's because of how Ernest was arrested. He said with this kind of security no one could attack an MP in parliament.
