Nana Aba Anamoah advises Black Stars to donate bonus to charity as sign of remorse

- Nana Aba Anamoah has slammed Black Stars players after defeat to Tunisia

- According to her, the players were crying because of their personal gains

On-air personality Nana Aba Anamoah has set one condition that Ghanaians will forgive the Black Stars after failing to progress in the ongoing AFCON.

Ghanaians are heartbroken after the Black Stars lost their round of 16 clash to Tunisia on Monday, July 8, 2019.

The four-time African champions lost 5-4 on penalties after the regulation time ended 1-1.

However, an obviously hurt Nana Aba Anamoah in an interview with Joy FM sighted by YEN.com.gh stressed that it will take more than crying for the players to appease Ghanaians who have been forced into mourning by their performance.

Are the players not offering any form of apology for the energy invested in them”? she asked. And called on them to “donate half of their bonuses to charity to show that they are sorry.”

“They should do more than crying,” she added.

Nana Aba told the host, Daniel Dadzie, that most of these players “did not look interested.

The sobbing of some of the players after the defeat did not convince Nana Aba Anamoah they are remorseful.

According to her, the players were crying because of their personal loss.

Why were the players crying? It was because they are not progressing to the next stage of the competition, they are going to be denied bonuses and may not get contracts from scouts.”

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported how Ghanaians expressed their displeasure regarding referee Victor Gomes' performance.

According to these Ghanaians, the referee was unfair to the team after disallowing a decent goal scored by Andre Ayew.
