He was, however, forced to stop after the police gave him a hot chase.

Having finally been arrested, the Tarkwah Nsuaem legislator has been processed for court.

The MP was driving a 4×4 vehicle with registration number WR 1900-17 when he was arrested for the traffic offence.

This comes after the MP for Kade, Kwabena Ohemeng Tinyaase, was also caught disregarding road traffic laws last week.

The lawmaker was incensed by the arrest of his driver, insisting he should be allowed to go because he‘s going to perform a duty in the “national interest”.

However, the police stamped their authority and arrested his driver, who was eventually fined GHS 960. after appearing before a court.
