- BET made a huge mistake in wishing Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie a happy birthday on social media
- The BET outfit posted a photo of Ghanaian rapper Strongman instead of Sarkodie
- Sarkodie has however reacted at the trending mistake made in a rather interesting manner
Popular rapper Sarkodie known in real life as Michael Owusu Addo has reacted to a mistake done by popular awards organizers BET International.
According to the 'Can't Let You Go' hitmaker, he sees it as a legendary action taken by the BET outfit.
In a tweet that was sighted by YEN.com.gh, Sarkodie expressed his opinion over the wrong post with the photo of Strongman instead of him (Sarkodie).
After the photo surfaced, Sarkodie quoted the photo as he wrote "Lol this is legendary @StrongmanBurner."
It is surprising that Sarkodie did not express anger over the mistake but rather referred to Strongman as a legend.
Twitter users on reading Sarkodie's reply expressed their opinion on the saga:
Prince claimed the mistake is not ordinary:
Kweku Nsiah asserted that BET recognizes Strongman as junior Sarkodie:
Smith had this to say:
Senam expressed the hilarious aspect of the mistake:
Kofi quizzed BET over their mistake:
Even though BET deleted the post after Sarkodie tweeted in a reply, the issue seems to be trending on social media.
Sarkodie won the BET Best International Act in 2012 so it was amazing that they do not know Sarkodie to post his correct photo.
Meanwhile, Strongman has been trending lately over his 'beef' with fellow rapper Medikal over who is the best rapper.
After Medikal claimed to have saved rap music as he consequently released a song to that effect, Strongman released a reply in another song.
However, the two rappers were criticized for dragging their respective girlfriends into the lyrical battle.
