- Nana Aba Anamoah has questioned why Shatta Wale would use Wendy Shay’s name for a song
- She said her name should have been used instead
- Shatta Wale had used Wendy Shay’s middle name Melissa to compose a new song
Nana Aba Anamoah has indicated that she is not happy Shatta Wale used Wendy Shay’s name for a song instead of hers.
She spoke in a vide whole playing the song in the background and dancing at the same time.
Nana Aba asked: “Shatta Wale, who is Melissa? Why didn’t you use my name? Who is Mellissa? Anyway, I like the song.”
Mellissa happens to be Wendy Shay’s middle name which Shatta Wale used for the song as earlier published by YEN.com.gh.
In the song, the musician referred to Mellissa as his darling who likes Waakye and pizza.
Waakye is a local dish made with rice and beans cooked together.
Shatta Wale also sang that he would marry Mellissa in the future.
It is a nice song with good rhyming.
Perhaps, that could be why Nana Aba wished her name had been used for the song.
Her fans have commented on the video
Namba, for instance said Shatta Wale would do a song for Nana Aba too if she keeps low:
wan.namba: “But on the low shatta for make song give you.”
Others also praised Nana Aba saying she is beautiful:
fitwears_gh: “You are beautiful.”

Meanwhile, Nana Aba and Shatta Wale are good friends.
She played a pivotal role in his reuniting with Stonebwoy, with the brain behind the unity being Dr. Kofi Abban.
