YEN.com.gh understands that 18 people have been arrested after two groups clashed at Dagomba Asokore Mampong municipality of the Ashanti region.
Two rival groups, whose members were wielding guns and cutlasses, caused damage to properties and injured people in the process.
The incident occurred after three rooms and three stalls in the slum were burnt by squatters after clashes with the police.
Per a classfmonline.com report, the police officers were supervising a demolition exercise per a court order secured by the owner on which the shacks were being built.
Information available suggests that a group of aggrieved squatters attacked the police officers with sticks, stones and other missiles.
The officers retreated and called for reinforcement as the fire officers rushed in to douse the flames.
In another report, It has emerged that some Black Stars players did not respect and follow instructions of coach Kwesi Appiah in Egypt.
According to former Asante Kotoko player, Ntow Gyan, most of the Black Stars players openly disrespected the coach and did not follow simple instructions.
