Wedding photo of 80-year-old man and 78-year-old woman goes viral
- An 80-year-old man has married a 78-year-old woman who has been his partner for 25 years
- The special wedding ceremony happened in Koforidua in the Eastern region
- A photo of the couple at the wedding has popped up and it is fast trending
An elderly couple has become an internet sensation following news of their wedding on Saturday, July 13, 2019.
The couple, 80-year-old man, Kwaku Gyamfi aka Odo Keteke, and his wife, Adwoa Asantewaa, 77, got married at Effiduase in the Eastern regional capital of Koforidua.
According to Peace FM's Michael Akrofi, the couple had been seeing each other for over 25 years now.

It had been the dream of the woman to get married but her first relationship which led to her giving birth to seven children ended without her bride price being paid.
The old man, on the other hand, had four children with another woman earlier in life but did not pay a dowry.
After their respective relationships with different partners, the two came together and have been living as concubines for two and a half decades.
Though they do not have any children together, their respective children came to together to make their parents' wish come true.

And it was really a grand occasion which saw invitation cards, wedding reception, and all the other activities that come with modern weddings.
A photo from the wedding has surfaced online and it is already going viral.
In the photo, the man and his wife are seen rocking the same off-white kente material with the woman in blue gele while holding a white and gold coloured bridal fan.
And they looked really made for each other.

The photo has received positive reactions on various social media platforms since it surfaced online.

Meanwhile, Ghanaian actor Adjetey Annan and his beautiful wife, Elom, have renewed their wedding (marital) vows.
The renewal of the marital vows which comes after more than 12 years of marriage came off on Thursday, July 11, 2019, as part of the Joy FM bridal fair.
