- There is a saying that “hell has no fury like a woman scorned”
- This statement has caused a lot of angry women to react on issues such as adultery, fornication and cheating in all forms, in very inhumane means.
- The woman in this situation obviously had to keep her cool for some time to plan something very tragic
Information reaching YEN.com.gh indicates that a woman has bathed her husband with hot water after he made known to her plans to marry a second wife.
According to the reports, the woman did not subscribe to the man’s intention of taking another woman as wife in addition to her.
The man who has been left with burn injuries in the scrotum and ‘lower region’ or groin has since been battling for his life at a health facility.
The victim Malam Aliyu Ibrahim who is a primary school teacher, informed his wife Lauratu of his intentions to take in a second wife which is not against his belief as a Muslim.
“Since the time I told her about my plan to marry another wife, I did not see any change of attitude from her and we had been living together peacefully," he said.
He added that she she promised that she would be among those that would buy the wedding items for the bride, until the night which the incident happened.
"I met her boiling the water, but I had no idea what she was going to use it for. I was relaxing, when she suddenly brought the hot water and poured it around my private part,”he said.
Meanwhile, Nollywood actress, Kudirat Ogunro, says she would allow her husband to have a girlfriend after their marriage in order to have a settled home.
Ogunro told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in an interview in Abuja that men are, by nature, polygamous.
She advised women to stop deceiving themselves by trying to wholly own their husbands.
“I’m not a jealous lover. In fact, when I get married, my husband has to have a girlfriend. That’s how my home can be settled and peaceful instead of him telling me ‘it’s only you baby’. No, I don’t believe in those words. I’m very serious. Men are polygamous by nature; so don’t let us fool ourselves,” the actress said.
