The details of the final funeral rites of former Peace FM presenter Maame Afia Konadu aka Maa Afia have been revealed.

According to a funeral poster sighted by YEN.com.gh, the veteran broadcaster's funeral rites will be held between Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21, 2019.

Per the funeral arrangements, Maa Afia will be laid in state at the Victory Congregation of the Presbyterian Church, Adenta-Accra, from 6:00am to 8:00am for a filing past before the burial service.

After the burial service, her body will be conveyed to Kyebi for a private burial while the final funeral rites continues at the church premises.

The veteran broadcaster passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, after a short illness.

As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, Maa Afia, as she was affectionately called, was taken ill in the United States of America where she had been staying after her retirement from Peace FM.
