Fast-rising Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Nana Fofiee, has won the heart of American singer Nicki Minaj with her version of the Megatron Challenge.

Nicki Minaj is really in love with the Ghanaian singer and she can’t keep quiet over it.

YEN.com.gh has sighted a video of Nana Fofiee showing off her talent after delivering a world-class piece with Nicki Minaj’s Megatron beat.

The video caught the attention of the American superstar and got her to admit that she can’t wait to have her on her label.

Nicki Minaj after reposting Nana Fofiee’s video wrote, “GHANA STAND UP!!!! #megatronchallenge This is my baby @nanafofiee. I always talk about her on Queen Radio. You can thank me later. She’s not a rapper. She’s a singer/songwriter & I can’t wait for her to be apart or my label. Her song Odo is I played her “mad over you mashup” on my ig while I was on vacation in Turks. Me & Bae LOVEEEEE HER MUSIC. She opened for me in Europe as well.”

Nana Fofiee expressed her excitement and replied saying, “I love you @nickiminaj ❤️and i would be HONORED to be a part of your LABEL

The rapper has for a while expressed her admiration for Nana Fofiee after chancing on some of her mashups late in 2018 in a video.

In what started as an Instagram connection, Nicki Minaj followed Nana Fofie after the former saw a couple of her songs and loved them.

Nana Fofiee is a Ghanaian songstress based in Holland. She recently joined Nicki Minaj’s fourth concert tour with rapper Juice World.

Nicki Minaj’s praise came a day after Ghana’s Shatta Wale landed a collaboration with Beyoncé.

Beyoncé curated two albums featuring international artistes for the Lion King movie which are called Spirit and The Gift.

On Tuesday June 16, 2019, she released the tracklist for the albums which showed that The Gift had a collection of African musicians including Shatta Wale, and Nigeria's Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Mr Eazi, Tekno, and Yemi Alade.
