Beautiful photos of a set of twins whose mother was sentenced to serve a five-year jail term while she was still pregnant have popped up on social media after Crime Check TV shared the photos via its Facebook platform.

The innocent babies would have spent time in jail while in the womb of their mother.

Ama Anima, mother of the twins was sentenced to five years in prison whilst pregnant and via the timely intervention of Crime Check Foundation, she was released.

As a token and proof of gratitude, the mother of the adorable set of twins insisted she would name her babies after Ibrahim Kwarteng, the head of Crime Check Foundation.

‘‘Ama Anima insists they will be named Blessing Ibrahim Kwarteng and Nhyira Ibrahim Kwarteng. The naming ceremony takes place tomorrow. We thank God for the lives of these boys. Prison couldn't have been their portion,’’ a post on Crime Check TV's Facebook stated.

Ibrahim Kwateng, took to his social media to express joy when the mother and her twins visited him in July 2019.

He wrote: ‘‘Two bouncing baby boys from Ama Anima arrive. Prison should not be the portion of innocent babies who have done no wrong. Unfortunately some judges at the Lower Courts violate the law by throwing pregnant women into prison. We thank God for using us to rescue these beautiful kids from the prospects of a prison sentence. We pray they grow to declare the glory of God.’’

Meanwhile, a 65-year-old man has disclosed in an interview that he masterminded many criminal activities, including kidnapping and murder in the 90s.
