Shatta Wale gave Already song with Beyonce to Stonebwoy hours before it was released

- Shatta Wale's song with Beyonce, Already, is finally out after the release of her Lion King: The Gift album

- Before the song's official release, Shatta Wale sent the song to Stonebwoy on Whatsapp

- This was disclosed by Shatta Wale on Twitter about 12 hours to the release of the song

The much anticipated Already song of Beyonce featuring Shatta Wale has been released on Friday, July 19, 2019.

Many are those who have praised Shatta Wale for his performance on the song which comes off the Lion King: The Gifted, one of the two albums Beyonce curated for the remake of the Lion King movie.

But even the official release of the song, Shatta Wale's contemporary, Stonebwoy, got the chance to listen to the song.

According to Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy got the song about 12 hours before the release.

In the afternoon of Thursday, July 18, 2019, Shatta Wale revealed that he sent the song to Stonebwoy to have a feel of it.

In a post on Twitter, Shatta Wale stated that he was enjoying his song before the release and tagged Stonebwoy that he had sent him the song on Whatsapp.

"Let me enjoy my song alone till Friday kwraaa @stonebwoyb I send u the song ,check your whatsapp ," Shatta wrote.

Stonebwoy who sounded excited about the song replied: "Allah!!!!! I Dey pass the Pool inside Go WhatsApp Now!!! Hererrrrrh #ShattaYoncé #LionKing #Ghana2TheWorld."

Meanwhile, Beyoncé has explained why she featured many African music stars including Ghana’s dancehall superstar Shatta Wale.

According to the American singer, she saw the Lion King album as a letter to Africa and thus wanted to make it authentic.

To achieve this, Beyoncé decided to feature the best artistes from the continent to give it the feel she wanted.
