Popular Gospel musician, Evangelist Diana Asamoah who is a known staunch supporter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has boldly declared that Nana Akufo-Addo should have remain in power forever
According to her, Akuo Addo would have stayed in power indefinitely if not for the provisions of the constitution.
Speaking to Delay on the latest episode of Delay Show, the Evangelist revealed that Akufo-Addo is doing exceptionally well if not for Ghana’s law which allows a person to be President for a maximum of 8 years.
“If you are monitoring and assessing what Akufo-Addo is doing now, why can’t he go for 8 years? President Akufo-Addo would have been president till God called him, if not for Ghana's law, which allows the president to go for 8 years after re-election,” she said.
According to the Gospel singer, anytime the name of the president is mentioned, she needs to stand up since he deserved all that and more.
She added that she would continue praying for President Akufo-Addo till every child in Ghana enjoys the Free SHS initiative by the Akufo-Addo government.
