One of Nigeria's wealthiest men Tony Elemelu recently stirred the hearts of many Nigerians with an unexpected action of his. The Nigerian billionaire was spotted buying roasted corn by the roadside along Lagos expressway.

In a video shared on his Instagram page, Tony Elemelu who is the chairman of the United Bank of Africa (UBA) casually stepped out of his car alongside his bodyguards and walked up to a woman selling roasted corn by the roadside.

The serial entrepreneur priced the corn and nipped at it the local way even while she was selling for him. Interestingly, the 56-year-old Tony Elemelu had met with the Senegalese president earlier in the day.

At the posh gathering where he met the president Macky Sall, Tony Elemelu had eaten Senegalese Jollof rice and dined quite luxuriously. See the post of him holding a plate of jollof rice while standing side by side with Senegal's president:
