Italian architect Stefano Boeri is set to begin work on what could become the first vertical forest.
The three apartment blocks will be situated in a new capital being built to the east of Cairo, Egypt's capital.
This is not the first time he has tried to execute such a project as his signature blocks are adorned with beautiful foliage in Italy’s city of Milan.
Edition.cnn.com reports that his project is also noted for the environmental and health benefits it provides.
With heights pegged at seven stories, each structure is expected to span 30 meters (98ft) by 30 meters (98ft).
In other news, the business development ministry has released another tranche of funds for the benefit of about 30 disabled female entrepreneurs.
Information available shows that the beneficiaries were from the food and beverage, fashion and beauty, trade and commerce as well as the Information Technology sectors.
The amount released totaled GHC31,000 and the intent was to help consolidate the gains of national development.
