- Ghanaians on social media have descended on former Ghana's Most Beautiful winner Akua Amoakowaa for claiming only men with vision marry Asante women
- The former beauty queen made her comments in criticism to Prophet Badu Kobi's jab at Asante women
- The Facebook users claimed that Akua's opinion on the issue has tribal traits similar to that of Badu Kobi
Ghanaians on Facebook have grilled television presenter Akua Amoakowaa for saying that only men with vision marry Asante women.
According to them, Akua should desist from taking similar tribal stance like the initial statement of Prophet Badu Kobi which generated the entire argument.
In comments written under a native post by YEN.com.gh, the Fabecook users expressed disappointment at Akua Amoakowaa for her comments.
The former Ghana's most beautiful winner in an interview claimed that men with vision always count themselves blessed to marry Ashanti women.
“Ashanti women are money conscious and that makes us very hardworking. We support our husbands and also strive to make our own money," she stressed.
Akua Amoakowaa advised all men who desire and dream of great prospects to marry Ashanti women.
But it seems her comments did not go down well with some Facebook users who took to the comment section to jab her:
Mema claimed she is Ashanti but disagrees with Akua:
Nii recalled Asante men who have vowed not to marry Asante women:
Akosua slammed Akua for marrying a man very much older than her:
Seni querried Akua about her opinion on the sage:
Sergio descended heavily on Akua:
The entire saga erupted when founder and leader of the Glorious Wave Church International, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, said that Asante women are greedy.
