Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, Ghanaian midfielder, has landed in hospital in Italy after suffering blood clots in his lungs.
According to BBC report, Badu’s Serie A outfit Hellas Verona revealed the sad news on Wednesday evening, August 14 after the 28-year-old was diagnosed with pulmonary microembolism.

Badu was admitted on Thursday morning, August 15 insists he "was doing much better", but will remain in hospital under closer observation for the next days.

Interestingly, Ageymang Badu is presently on loan at Hellas Verona, with a clause to buy from Serie A rivals Udinese.
Badu could not Ghana’s Black Stars squad for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt after a 11-month injury layoff.
