Actress Nana Ama McBrown has finally opened up on how she struggled to give birth to her daughter, Maxine.
According to the beautiful actress, it has taken about 20 years before she could get her biological child.
McBrown who has turned 42 years old today (Thursday), August 15, 2019, gave birth to Maxine, in Canada in March 2019.
The birth of Maxine came after almost three years of marriage to her husband, Maxwell and it has brought much relief and joy to the actress.
As a very successful actress, her childlessness was always going to bring up rumours and some even suggested that McBrown had lived a reckless life in the past and had probably damaged her womb.
But speaking in an interaction with her fans on social media on the morning of her birthday, McBrown pointed out that she has never gotten rid of pregnancy in her entire life.
In a Facebook/Instagram Live video, McBrown who could not hold her tears, disclosed that she had wanted to have her own child since 1999 because she always loved it when close friends gave birth.
Unfortunately for her, it never happened and even when she entered serious relationships and marriage, she still could not conceive.
The mother further revealed that her inability give birth became a big problem and it left her in tears many times
McBrown thus thanked God for finally blessing her womb saying her life is complete now.
“Today as I celebrate my 42nd birthday, I give thanks to God. It is said that ‘Life begins at 40’ but as for me, God has completed my life at age 42," she said.
The actress also praised her husband for having patience and supporting her in trying times.
Before her birthday, McBrown had stepped out in style in one of her posh cars.
In a pre-birthday video published by YEN.com.gh, McBrown indicated that she was going to pick her daughter, Maxine for a visit to her uncle.
