Ghanaian inspirational gospel minister, songwriter and recording artiste, Edith Maafo, has launched her debut album titled: “Bigger Better Greater”.
In all, there are 10 songs including “I Overcome-” which will, no doubt, resonate with those going through very challenging times in their lives as well as “Lead me Lord” which epitomizes Edith’s recording voice and style of music that has endeared her to many fans in UK and growing fan base in Ghana..
Edith comes from a family line of church choristers and singing has always been one of her most treasured gifts.
At the tender age of ten, she became a member of the Calvary Methodist Church Junior Choir in Accra. She later joined the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) as a young soloist ministering heartfelt gospel songs.
From primary school through to secondary school and university, Edith formed her own gospel groups, and spent most of her time preparing them for gospel ministrations.
Her dream to minister to the world is now here as Edith uses scriptural based songs to encourage, inspire and witness for Christ.
The passionate voice of urban gospel minister Edith, is carving out a unique niche for the experienced songstress.
Her creativity, versatility and passion that have fueled a life of ministry would most definitely have a global impact. Edith is simply a gift to the body of Christ.
