Amid souring emotions, CEO of Menzgold Ghana Limited, Nana Appiah Mensah, has observed a minute silence in remembrance of lost lives owing to the Menzgold debacle.

At a press conference held in Accra on August 19, 2019, to clarify issues regarding payments of clients’ investments, Nana Appiah Mensah, called for a one minute silence in honour of persons who died from shock after getting to know their huge investments were lost due to the collapse of the gold dealership company.

The entire conference room fell in silence when Nana Appiah asked people in the hall to stand and observe a moment of silence in respect of the dead.

Prior to the conference, some aggrieved customers of troubled Menzgold had revealed that some of their colleagues lost their lives out of frustration as a result of their locked up cash.

However, the CEO of Menzgold has expressed willingness to pay customers based on some conditions.

"I am willing to pay my customers but the government of Ghana and the Attorney General's office need to help me," he said.

He continued: "The government through the Attorney General's office should send international lawyers to Dubai so we can retrieve the $39million owed me by Horizon Royal Diamonds."

Meanwhile, a young Ghanaian student of Mankessim M.A School in the Central region has awed many with his exceptionally creative drawing of the late Ebony Reigns after it was shared into a popular Facebook group.

While the toddler's name is yet to be known, his adorable artwork of the late sensational dancehall artiste has generated pleasant comments from members of the group.
