Trevor Noah ranked as the 4th highest-paid comedian by Forbes

Eishoooo, Trevor Noah is slaying hard! If anyone ever tells you that you can’t make it big because you are from South Africa, slap them with Trevor Noah.

The Mzansi-born funny man took his career overseas just a few years back and he has rocketed.

Trevor sells out entire auditoriums and theatres all over the world, during shows.

Briefly.co.za learnt that Trevor was just named the fourth highest-paid comedian in the world by Forbes.

Trevor made an estimated whopping R430 million just last year.

Trevor ranked under three of the biggest names in the game: Kevin Hart was in first place at R909-million, followed by Jerry Seinfeld and Jim Gaffigan.

The moola was not raked in for free though, Trevor works works super-hand hard.

In just one year, Trevor made over 70 stops worldwide, produced and filmed his second Netflix special, Trevor Noah: Son of Patricia, and still managed his talk show, The Daily Show.

All the hustle and bustle has gotten to Trevor though. The comedian has been put on forced vocal rest and is taking some time off to recover and is currently in Singapore with Sizwe Dhlomo and a few other mates.
