Lydia Hudu: Meet the beautiful Legon student who sells 'sobolo' to pay her fees

University education in Ghana is very expensive and because of this, many people who have completed secondary school are at home trying to raise funds.

Some ladies who are at home all because they cannot afford their fees have decided to venture into ungodly things to cater for their education.

But there is one beautiful lady who has warmed the hearts of many social media users with how she has been raising money to pay her fees.

Her name is Lydia Hudu and she is a student at the University of Ghana, the country’s premier university.

Despite her beauty she has put her pride aside to help her mother in selling a popular local drink in Ghana, ‘sobolo.’

According to a social media user Inusah Duut Issahaku who shared her photos and inspiring story on Facebook, Lydia Hudu was caught on camera hawking the Sobolo drink at Makola market in Accra Central.

Inusah also revealed that, Lydia’s mother hawks ‘soboolo’ and that is what she uses to cater for school fees for her children.

Meanwhile, reported a story of how a distance education student of the University of Cape Coast catered for her fees.

In a viral video which was shared by TV personality Nana Aba Anamoah, the pretty lady identified as Elizabeth, was spotted selling dried fish and pepper to fund her education.
