Social media users claim Akufo-Addo is Ghana’s worst president so far

- A poll to determine Ghana's worst president has generated interesting results on social media.

- Some of those who responded believe that Ghana's current president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, is the worst in recent times.

- They have explained the reasons behind their choices.

Ghana has been led by five presidents since the beginning of the fourth republic which started from January 1, 1993.

Flt Lt (Rtd) Jerry John Rawlings took charge as president from 1993 and handed over in January 2001.

John Agyekum Kufuor also served two terms and completed his mandate in January 2009. Professor John Evans Atta-Mills continued from there till he lost his life in July 2012.

His then vice president, John Dramani Mahama, assumed office as president till he lost the 2016 elections to Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who is president currently.

Some Ghanaians have taken to social media to select who they believe has been the worst president of Ghana:

Amoak stated that he respects every president, past and present.

Kessie also noted that no president can satisfy every desire of Ghanaians.

Lampard believes Nana Addo is Ghana's greatest mistake.

Linda added that Nana Addo and his government are '419'.

Bitambo also mentioned Nana Addo as Ghana's worst president.

To Gour, Nana Addo only brought promises.

Abenyuure also said it is Nana Addo because he has been constantly misled.

Jackson also noted that it is Ghana's current president, Nana Addo.

Boadum is convinced it is Nkrumah.

Crentsil settled for J.J Rawlings as Ghana's worst president.

In other news, a video showing scenes from the burial service of Dr. Kwame Nrumah has popped up online and stimulated sad reactions from social media users.

The video, which was shared by Ghana the Black Star of Africa, starts with a helicopter landing on a park.

People from all walks of life are seen at the park amidst drumming and dancing and taking of photos.
