- According to her, she decided to help a young man who requested for money to settle his school fees
- After she assisted him, the young man messaged her the next day to demand money for food
Actress Lydia Forson was left stunned after her goodwill was mistaken for an opportunity to ask for more by an online beggar.
In a recent post shared on her Twitter page, Forson narrated how she assisted a young man in settling his school fees and almost regretted helping out shortly after.
Forson revealed that the young man sent her a direct message and pleaded for her to assist with his school fees.
She accepted and decided to help with half of the fees.
The next day, he surprised her with a receipt to prove that he had paid for what he requested the money for.
Interestingly, this begger proceeded to demand money for feeding from her which left her stunned as he had appeared to be taking advantage of her generosity.
Obviously perplexed, she didn't respond to the demand.
Her post left many social media users laughing. According to some, being generous is good but some people's entitlement is annoying.
