Hotel staff nabs thief who stole plasma TV and hid it in his suitcase (photos)

- A thief has been nabbed after he stole a plasma television from a hotel

- The man had reportedly lodged in the hotel in Benue state to steal from them

- It was gathered that the man hid the plasma television inside his travel bag

A Nigerian man has been caught stealing at a hotel in Benue state. The unidentified thief was caught by the hotel staff trying to leave with the plasma television hidden inside his luggage.

YEN.com.gh came across the story after a staff of the hotel identified as Vera Iyo shared the story with photos of the thief on Facebook.

In the photos, the thief was spotted holding the plasma television while he was on his knees after being caught. The photos also showed his opened suitcase in which he tried to hide the stolen plasma television.

The man had reportedly lodged in the hotel located in Gboko area of the state. The thief was searched by the staff, who suspected him, and they found the stolen plasma television.

According to Iyo, the keys from other hotel rooms were also found in the suitcase. She expressed that hotel staff needs to beware of thieves and urged those who have lost things to check the thief at E division police station.

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh had earlier reported that a lady identified as Laurenta, was also nabbed after she lodged at hotel in Delta state hotel with her boyfriend to steal. Laurenta conspired with her boyfriend to steal the hotel's plasma TV.
