Kennedy Agyapong vows to expose Manasseh over GHc1,000 bribe from PPA boss

- Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, seems to be against investigative journalists and their modus operandi in the country

- He has vowed to expose Manasseh Azure, alleging that he took GH¢1,000 bribe from the embattled Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PPA, Adjenim Boateng Adjei

- He threatened to also release video footages as well as pictures of the journalist receiving the said amount in the coming days

The Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, seems to be against investigative journalists and their modus operandi in the country.

The Assin Central MP has vowed to expose Manasseh Azure, alleging he took GH¢1,000 bribe from the embattled Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PPA, Adjenim Boateng Adjei.

Speaking on Oman Fm’s Boiling Point, he threatened to also release video footages as well as pictures of the journalist receiving the said amount.

“I have a full picture and video of Manasseh taking one thousand cedis bribe from the procurement Authority boss last Saturday. I will show it to Ghanaians this weekend,” he said.

In other news, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the suspended Chief Executive of the Public Procurement Authority, Adjenim Boateng Adjei had been the subject of scrutiny and investigations in the past as he had been sighted for corruption in 2003.

Records suggests that in 2003, a committee was set up to investigate for allegedly misappropriating public funds.

According to the report, AB Adjei and 3 others were recommended for prosecution for causing financial loss to the state to a tune of GHc72.5m.
