YEN.com.gh is in possession of a photo of a scrap dealer, Mohammed Kwame, who has been arrested for stealing a motor bicycle from a police station.
Kwame, aged 28 years, allegedly stole the motorbike from a police station at Malejor, near Oyibi in the Greater Accra region.
Together with his accomplice known as Razak, they broke into the station and left with the motorbike with registration number GP 4818.
About 30 minutes later, Kwame was arrested after he was spotted by a police official riding the motorbike along the Dodowa-Adenta road, with Razak sitting behind him.
Razak managed to esape but Kwame was picked up with the assistance of a military patrol team.
He was then escorted to the Airport police station and later the Malejor police station after he admitted the offence and said Razak was his accomplice.
In other news, a former communications advisor at the presidency, Ben Dotsei Malor, has posed five questions to the board of directors of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA).
His questions follow a statement released by the board in which it sought to absolve itself of any liability with regard to allegations of abuse of office by the chief executive officer, A.B Adjei.
The board further indicated that it is optimistic the scope of its responsibilities would become clear after the necessary investigations have been conducted.
