A member of the board of directors of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Arnold Boateng, has tendered in his resignation.
In a letter sighted by YEN.com.gh, he explained that he is not at liberty to speak about the reason for his exit because he swore an oath of secrecy.
Boateng however thanked the president for the opportunity to serve on the board and asked him to pay closer attention to its activities.
Per a report by Starrfm.com.gh, he added that his time at the board has taught him valuable lessons he would cherish for a long time.
In another report, a former communications adviser at the presidency, Ben Dotsei Malor, has posed five questions to the board of directors of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA).
His questions follow a statement released by the board in which it sought to absolve itself of any liability with regard to allegations of abuse of office by the chief executive officer, A.B Adjei.
The board further indicated that it is optimistic the scope of its responsibilities would become clear after the necessary investigations have been conducted.
