Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew has won the hearts of many fans in England following his goal against Manchester United.
Ayew netted his first English Premier League goal in seven months when he guided Crystal Palace to a 2-1 win over English giants on Saturday, August 24, 2019.
The heroics of the Black Stars attacker helped Palace stunned Manchester United as an injury-time winner helped the visitors to record their first victory at Old Trafford since 1989.
The 27-year-old opened the scoring after 33 minutes when he profited from a flicked on header from countryman Jeffrey Schlupp who beat Lindelof in the air.
That assist put Ayew clear on goal as he controlled and kept his head on his shoulders before drilling a low one past goalkeeper David De Gea.
It was Ayew's first league goal since 2 January, 2019 when he netted in Crystal Palace's 2-0 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Ayew was part of the Black Stars team that failed to win end the country's 37-year trophy drought at the 2019 AFCON.
He was seen as the Black Stars' best player at the AFCON despite the country's early exit.
Following his superb display at the AFCON, Crystal Palace signed him permanently drawing the summer transfer.
