Liverpool vs Arsenal ended in a 3-1 win for Jurgen Klopp's side as they continue their perfect run in the new campaign.
Mohamed Salah scored a brace in the second half after Joel Matip had put the European champions ahead five minutes before the break. But Lucas Torreira scored a late goal to cancel Liverpool's clean sheet.
It was the European champions who dominated proceedings in the opening exchanges but they could not quite create a clear chance.
But the Reds almost got their noses in front after a terrible pass from Dani Ceballos found Sadio Mane in the box and the Senegalese shot straight into the hands of Bernd Leno.
Record signing, Nicholas Pepe had the Gunner's best chance as he pounced on a mistake from Jordan Henderson and was one-on-one with Adrian, but he could not get the right contact on the ball to beat the Spaniard in goal.
Liverpool took the lead from a corner in the 40th minute as Matip rose highest in the box to score from a Trent Alexander-Arnold's corner to make it 1-0.
The Merseyside club took the lead into the break as they created more chances their than opponents in the half.
It took just four minutes after the break for Liverpool to make it 2-0 through Salah. The Egyptian striker was fouled by David Luiz in the box as the 26-year-old converted the resulting spot-kick.
Salah completed his brace in the 59th minute after making a meal of Luiz, as he calmly put the ball past Lerno to make it 3-0.
Lucas Torreira scored a consolation goal for Arsenal in the 85th minute to make it 3-1. And that was how it ended as Liverpool secured all three points on the night.
Liverpool are now the only side with a 100 per cent record in the Premier League winning three wins out of three.
