King Promise reveals his mother was not comfortable with his big shoes

- King Promise says Ghanaians should focus on his music and not his shoes-

- According to him, the whole shoe thing started when he wore a Balenciaga to an event

- He said his mother even called him to ask what sort of shoes he was wearing

It seems Ghanaians are not the only ones not happy about the kind of shoes King Promise dons when ever he is making a public appearance.

According to him, on one occasion, he wore one of his big 'camboos' as usual and he got a distress call from his mother.

Speaking in an interview with Happy FM, King Promise revealed that his mother questioned him as to why he wore certain kind of shoes to an award event.

"I don’t know why people talk about my shoes. It first started when I went for an award and wore this Balenciaga shoes that I bought. I didn’t know it was going to cause anything until the following morning when it was all over social media; my mum even called to comment that my shoe was too big."

Due to the kind of shoes he has added to make his signature look complete, the artiste seems worried that he would only be reminded for his shoes and not his music.

According to him, if he’s only remembered for the shoes he wears, then there is a problem with him as an artiste.

He indicated that Ghanaians should focus on promoting his music and not on the shoes.

"For me I feel if somebody is to talk about me, it should be my music because that is the most important thing,” King Promise noted.
